RESNET Building Performance Conference RESNET Board President Philip

Directors.
The 2009 recipients are:
Southwest Energy Conservation (SENERCON)
RESNET Market Transformation Award
Southwest Energy Conservation (SENERCON) has been able to develop its
market from the ground up, introducing the Energy Star Homes Program in
2004 to El Paso, Tx and surrounding areas without any incentive from
utilities nor the government, and without any builder being familiar
with the Program. Testimony of its accomplishments has been that
SENERCON has been awarded by the EPA the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year
three consecutive years (2006, 2007 & 2008) for the achievements in its
market.
On the commercial side, SENERCON has started introducing the Energy
Star Commercial Program and started LEED Commercial consulting services
for architects, general contractors and building owners to further
expand its operations and emphasize the importance of energy efficiency
in commercial buildings. Currently, SENERCON is working on several LEED
registered commercial projects in Texas, New Mexico and Mexico.
